Galloping Waters is a modern and comfortable houseboat that sleeps 10 Adults in 5 cabins. All cabins are en-suite besides cabin number 5, however there is a separate bathroom on board. The rooms are all equipped with fans, multiple plug sockets, and hot running water in the showers throughout the whole day. We supply basic bathroom amenities as well as swimming and bathroom towels.
The boat has three crew, including the captain, deckhand and a chef on board. The chef will be available at all times if a group decides to self-cater. The kitchen is spacious and is fully equipped with a deep freezer, fridge, 5 plate gas cooker, dish washer and all catering amenities. The top deck includes; a comfortable lounge and dining area under cover with an open sundeck with sun loungers, umbrellas, gas braai, as well as a swimming pool. It has a large teak bar with a spacious bar fridge, a reverse osmosis water machine, so water (on the top deck only) is drinkable. For entertainment, the boat has surround sound music as well as a smart flat screen television. Internet is available for clients at a fee. The boat has a netflix account to entertain children and adults.
The boat also offers, fishing rods, basic tackle and bait on board (for hire). We have yoga mats and other basic gym equipment on board, as well as some entertaining board games. There is a tender boat and two safari canoes that travel with the houseboat at all times. For the more adventurous, the boat has provision to hold bicycles (or off road motorbikes) with great cycle trails which can either be guided or self-guided. There is also access to a beautiful scenic hiking trail in one of the overnight bays. Or, just come and relax and enjoy the comforts of the boat and the beauty the lake has to offer.
