Galloping Waters is a modern and comfortable houseboat that sleeps 10 adults in 5 cabins. All cabins are en-suite besides cabin number 5, which has a separate bathroom on board.
Every room is equipped with fans, multiple plug sockets, and hot running water in the showers throughout the whole day. We supply basic bathroom amenities as well as swimming and bathroom towels.

Facilities
A kitchen, a bar, a pool and a very good place to sit
The boat has three crew — the captain, a deckhand and a chef — on board. The chef is available at all times if a group decides to self-cater.
The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with a deep freezer, fridge, five-plate gas cooker, dishwasher and all catering amenities. The top deck has a comfortable covered lounge and dining area, an open sundeck with sun loungers and umbrellas, a gas braai and a swimming pool. There is a large teak bar with a bar fridge and a reverse-osmosis water machine, so the water on the top deck is drinkable.
For entertainment there is surround-sound music and a smart flat-screen television, with a Netflix account for children and adults. Internet is available to guests for a fee.
Activities
Do a lot, or absolutely nothing
Basic tackle and bait are on board for hire. Yoga mats, basic gym equipment and board games come with the boat, and a tender boat and two safari canoes travel with the houseboat at all times.
Fishing
Basic tackle and bait are available on board for hire — the lake is famous for bream and tiger fish.
Bikes & trails
The boat has provision to hold bicycles or off-road motorbikes, with great cycle trails that can be guided or self-guided.
Shore walks & trails
A beautiful scenic hiking trail in one of the overnight bays, walked with the crew.
Pool & sundeck
Swim on the top deck, read under an umbrella, or take the loungers to the bow for the afternoon.
