The boat
US$550 per night, for the whole boat
The cost per night is $550 for the whole boat and excludes fuel. Fuel is set at 100 litres a day, charged at the current pump price.
The boat has permanent 220 V power run from solar with a backup generator. She is moored in a private harbour with ample and safe parking for visitors’ vehicles, and travels between different islands up the lake each day of your stay.
Boarding is anytime from 11:00 onwards, but the boat needs to leave before 15:00 to reach its nearest destination. It returns home between 11:00 and 12:00, unless guests arrange otherwise.

How a stay runs
Board, cast off, wake up somewhere new
Board at Siavonga, from 11:00
Arrive at the private harbour, park securely, and settle in on the top deck while the crew load.
Cast off before 15:00
The boat leaves before 15:00 to reach its nearest destination before dark.
A different bay
The boat travels between different islands up the lake each day of your stay.
Back at the mooring, 11:00 – 12:00
Home between 11:00 and 12:00, unless guests arrange otherwise.

Internet is available to guests at a fee. The lake is best enjoyed offline, but the option is there.
